Hi I might have downloaded something wrong on my PC, or did something wrong to my flatscreen since every time I shut down for my PC and turn it on again it shows Auto Config in red letters. I didn't do that before. How do I reset my Acer flatscreen back to normal again? Greetings René B.

Boot up your computer and once it is loaded to your windows desktop, using the image below press and hold the #1 key for about 3 seconds and it will auto adjust the monitor for you. I hope this helps.

Is there any message that appears? Does it do this on all the channels and inputs? IS it always the same amount of time?
IF it shuts down and you turn it right back on, does it take 2 minutes to shut down again or is it immediate? What is the model number?
Something is running in the background that is interfering. Most of the time this is Windows Update taking its' sweet time downloading updates and installing, especially if you have it set to auto update. Could be something else though. Hit CTRL/ALT/DEL, open Task Manager and see what is running. Right click on anything open and tell it to stop process.
Hello Try to uninstall the software "asus instant fun" from add/remove software. Go start/controlpanel/addremove software.
Try to reinstall the software if you want it, maybe that gonna solve your problem.
You can also check your BIOS and see if you can Inactive the Music Button.
but try to uninstall it first, and restart your computer. then shut it down and see if it restart by it self. make sure you do a full shutdown and not Hibernate or sleep mode.

you can turn off the monitor from the power button. but if this is the first time this is happening then you must install the driver for the monitor vga so the system unit can be able to control it
