Touchpad not working toshiba l505d-s5983 - Toshiba Satellite L505-S5966 Notebook

I. “To “Enable” the Pointer Device using the Touch-Pad, go to, Control Panel, click (“Mouse”) in the “Hardware and Sound” category; go to, “Device Settings” in the (Devices) block.
II. “Highlight”; the item you want to (enable) this being the “Pointer Device.” Click the (Enable) button, just below. Be sure to (Click) on the “Apply” button, and click OK.”
III. You may need to “Update Drivers” Click on “Hardware, click “Properties,” click, on Driver.” If the, Update Driver (block) is not “Grayed-out” click “Update Drivers”, click (OK), this will ensure that the application take effect.
Note: Restarting the computer will configure system changes in the computer applications to prevent errors, and to finalize the (Installing / Uninstalling) of programs, and or (Enabling / Disabling) of Hardware.
