It seems I accidentally deleted the folder that comes on my hard drive (I don't remember what was in it) and now my computer has trouble recognizing when the drive is connected. Is there a way for me to download or otherwise recover that folder I deleted? I didn't realize it in time to get it from my recycle bin before it was emptied.
Yes You can easily recover it many services are there to help. I faced Hard disk failure and got complete recovery. The ones i was helped were IN MUMBAI.Below is the site link http://www.datarecoverybangalore.in/
Is this drive still recognizable on your computer or other computers?
If it is still recognizable there, without data backups, you also can try deleted file recovery software to scan this drive and take your wanted files back: Hard Drive Deleted File Recovery
In my experiences, as long as these deleted files are not overwritten by anything new on the same drive, you often can easily take all possible drive stuffs back.
