Try to update the software. If it doesn't help then try unplugging the front panel key connection

Check its degaussing posistor at the power supply regulator section.

I am also having this exact same problem... except sometimes the power wont even come on with the power button on the tv. did you figure out what it was?

well it sounds like this washer has suffered from extreme vibration. that can be caused by several things. 1) non "HE" detergent being used. 2) shipping bolts not removed soon enough after unit was used. 3) continual and consistent overloading. 4) a very unstable floor, inefficient pedestal. 5) shock absorbers broke and gone unattended too long after separating from tube and or base/chassis.

bottom line is there are many possible causes of the counterweight breaking apart, (even loose counterweight hold down fasteners) these are just a few.

now the good news...

as long as no further damage has occurred, these units are a dime a dozen at used appliance depots and you should be able to locate a relatively inexpensive replacement part.

Replace you lamp or have it replaced by a technician. Lamps are only good for about 6500hrs depending on use. Thats about close to 3yrs.

To me, sounds like a picture tube issue. horizontal / vertical controls don't fix it. then its dead.

Sounds like it could be H.O.T which stands for horizontal output transistor or a fuse is possible. Another possibility is the FLYBACK transformer. Is there a local repair facility you could take it too? Keep me posted. Have a good day...Jay

it sounds like a b+ cap going bad and is intermittant that feeds the the video drivers on the crt pcb or the crt is shorting.
