Hi, I have an infocus 5700 and recently changed the lamp. And now I've noticed the green light was not lit at all even when it's plugged in the power source. What's happening to the projector?

Hi! Just had the same problem and I want to sincerely thanks rey francis basa ! I went down and changed C16 as you said. Exactly where you said. Works perfectly now!
the lamps are good for about 2000 hours. but it sounds like it's time to get a new lamp. but after you put it in, go into the menu and reset the lamp timer.
Terry, I had the same problem. Its a small capacitor on the power board labelled 'C16'(right in the middle of the board) its value is 16volt 100uf. I also changed the biggest one on the board as well( 450volt 270uf @85deg). The big one was sourced through RS components @£5.14, the other I got through a maplins store for the grand sum of 13 pence. Both are quite easy to change if your not adverse to taking the unit apart. (Just remember where all the leads plug in). A torx T10 screwdriver, and soldering iron is all you need.
Because these units have dangerous high voltages inside, there are a number of safety interlocks throughout. Take out the lamp and reseat it. Also, make sure that the access door is installed correctly and securely. Both have interlocks that will prevent a poiwer up is not installed correctly.
If this is not the case for you, please update this and we'll look for other causes.
I've got the same problem, I'm wondering if it has to do with some sort of auto shut off kicking in due to overheating or something, I was gonna try replacing the fan to see if it's something to do with that
