If you front loader is leaking, the following link can give you guidance on how to inspect the washer to determine where the source of the leak may be coming from:

Most commonly, the source of the leak comes from the door bellow (gray rubber seal). They do wear out with age and can develop small rips and tears. A routine inspection of the perimeter of the door seal can determine if you have any holes. If the seal is damaged, it must be replaced. The following link explains how:

I would like to mention two things about the Kenmore Washer HE4 Leak and mold smell
First there is a posting that states you can change the billows without removing anything but the billows.
1. Unhook the small spring from the cable at the front of the Billows at the 6 o'clock location (bottom)
2. push the bellows inside of the washer to expose the large hose clamp at the one o'clock position - unscrew the 5/16" nut then pull the billows off.
3. to replace, just reverse the steps taking care not to over-tighten the 5/16" nut
Question: Is there anything wrong with this procedure?
Second - the moldy smell: I have read a lot about keeping the billows (rubber seal) dry after washing, running a sanitary cycle and removing the soap dispenser when not in use so the washer can air out: none of this removes the source of the mold. My uneducated finding is to remove the bottom panel (3 screws at the bottom and the bottom panel can be removed) is where you find a large - about 4" white plug at the base of the drain that can be unscrewed to reveal the filter. When I removed this it was full of debris and chuck full of Mold with the distinct smell like what I have been smelling for months. I removed the filter, cleaned it and replaced it back int the pump - you can only put it in one way. Once this was done, the smell was gone. Make sure you have towels around because there will be some water drain as a result of this procedure.
Question - Is there anything that needs to be done after removing this filter before re-inserting into the washer?
