Drill stopped work ing when hot. One drill we bought stopped after 10 6mm holes. The others work when you pull the trigger and then sometime they don't.
Sounds like a burned out motor.
Sometimes you can replace the brushes and make them work again.
When operating that drill, make sure that you are not overheating the motor.
Depending on the material that you are drilling, you may need to use the drill on a slower speed in order to not overheat the motor.
Another way is to have more than one drill, and switch to a cool one as soon as you notice heat on the in-use drill.
If your drill is battery powered, stop using the drill and change the battery as soon as the battery dies enough to slow the speed of the drill.
Operating the drill under reduced power is very hard on the motor for several reasons.
