C-12cb Getting c-12cb error message and reinstalled it and the reinstallation will not proceed pass 99% so the error remains what to do

Did you maks sure it is the orginal cartridge, Because the cartridge sensor will not detect any unoriginal ones.

Canon MP F50 "wrong cartridge" error


remove all cartridges leaving printhead intact.
close cover, turn off
turn on, let power up, error message should be gone.
open cover, reinstall cartridges
if you cleaned your print head like I did you'll probly
eventually end up getting a new one anyway, due to the color variations
but I can at least print text.

Sounds like a corrupt driver / software install. Try reinstalling the drivers and application software from the disc you got along with the printer.

RESEAT FUSER


Hi G,

99% of the time the error is the fuser. Either it is damaged, or just not locked in place, and with power off, reseating it will fix the error. Since you just replaced the fuser, I guess the question is did you do it because it was also giving this error, or because it reached EOL ( end of life ).

If it was for EOL message, I would try reinstalling it. If the "reseat fuser" error goes away, but comes back with the new fuser again, then the new fuser you purchased is defective and should be returned or exchanged.

See the information below to correctly troubleshoot your issue.

The following steps are the troubleshooting steps that should be followed for error code 010 397.
First, the definition of the failure is <IOT Fuser Failure>, and means a Fuser Error is detected.

1) With power off, reseat the fuser by physically removing it from the printer, then reinstalling it and locking it in place. Turn the power back on. ( if the error is still present, proceed to step 2 ).

2) If reseating the fuser did not resolve the problem, Replace the fuser with a known good fuser.
( if problem is not resolved, proceed to step 3)

3) Replace the LVPS ( low voltage power supply ). ( if problem not resolved, proceed to step 4 ).

4) Replace the PWBA MCU ( printed wiring board assembly - machine control unit ).

END of troubleshooting.........

In most cases, the fuser itself is the problem. If you tried to reseat or replace the fuser while power was still on, the LVPS could have been damaged just as if there were an electrical storm.

What is the error message you are getting with the new fuser. Is this the same error you were getting before changing the fuser? If you changed the fuser because the old one was just at EOL ( end of life) but did not give you an error, have you tried to reinstall the old fuser.

It is possible that the new fuser was damaged in shipping, or not properly seated.

If both the new and old fuser give the same error message, then yes, I would agree that the LVPS would be the next part to replace, however, if they have different errors, then you probably have 2 bad fusers ( or one that is EOL, and one that was received damaged).

Before changing the LVPS, make sure you follow the steps below prior to the LVPS steps.
as far as where to purchase it if you do in fact need one, you can always do a google and ebay search for "Dell 5100cn LVPS".

I can provide you with replacement instructions if it comes to that.

My Wife accidently deleted the software on our computer that was the HP Officejet 5610 all in one printer. Now when I went to reinstall it it will go just so far and than it tells me to restart the...


Try removing all of the HP software the correct way (Control Panel/ add remove programs) then reboot your machine. You should then reinstall the printer driver without getting the redundency message.

Drivers won't download


You may have a driver conflict error. Tell me, are you going to device manager and completely uninstallin old driver before reinstalling?

you ordered black IU ???? do you have bichub 350 or C350 ???? because 350 is B/W printer and you need trum unit and starter at least.
C12CB: Hard disk data transfer error

solutions:
1 Reinstall the hard disk.
2 Change Hard Disk.
3 Change PWB-MFP.
