Installing a new stereo. I am trying to install a ''JVC KD-R210'' in my wifes 1985 BMW 535i, replacing a Sony CDX-R79 and in the trunk is a Pioneer 12 disc cd changer that was hooked up to the system. This system is also hooked up to a couple of crossovers(?) and possibly an amp that I can not find, their are 2 sets of RCA jacks(male) marked for front and rear speakers. The questions are is their an adapter I can use to install the JVC using the RCA jacks? Can I hook up the CD changer to this unit? If not, then can I bypass it somehow(the rear speakers seem to be going through the unit). If someone can help my wife would love it and so would I (my dinner won't be cold). ThANKS (e-mail [email protected])

There is a line level converter that would need to be purchased to that you can get the front speakers to work with the amplifier. The stereo already has rca jacks for the rear speakers. You can connect these straight to the amplifier for it to work. Bes sure that you use the blue wire to connect to the remote turn on for the amplifiers. Once you get the line level converter you will connect the wires and connect the converter using the RCA jacks. The question would be how was the 12 disc changer connected to the system. Would need more information on the changer in order to help with that component.
