Have you checked the file specifications' that the player can play? Some players can play jpgs of a specific resolution or color depth.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

The library where I'm trying to use microfilm has a brand new LG reader. It, of course, has a flash drive port. I thought I was using it yesterday but got home to find the flash drive empty. I need a...

Hello -

As a librarian by profession, I suggest you ask one of the librarians for instruction in using your flash drive with that reader. The librarian will probably have one of the library aides instruct you.

In fact, the library may have a handout with instructions, which you can keep.

Best wishes.

I can`t see photo files like jpeg etc, from my flash memry (8GB) - empty folder. But, avi files are running properly. TV is Sony KDL-46HX800. Is it some upgrade or something, or what?

Hi,

The TV will only detect USB Devices if it is formatted in FAT32 format.
Files from a USB device need to be compatible with the following file formats.

- Still images: JPEG format or RAW format (preview only)

- Music: MP3 format

- Video: AVCHD, MP4 (AVC) or MPEG1 format (not playable in some cases)

Make sure that you're using the compatible file formats in the USB Drive.

Also check if the USB Drive which you're using is compatible with the TV.

Click here to check the list of compatible devices which Sony recommends,

The accessible file or folder limit in a directory is 1,000 for USB. This limit includes non-supported files or just folders. Files or folders are populated based on their time stamps. Photo, music files or folders exceeding the limit will not be displayed.

Check if the above mentioned criteria meets the requirements.

How do i download pictures onto psp?

You need a USB cable for PSP, or a card reader.

If you have USB cable for PSP:

To get everything working, plug the Sony PSP into the Windows PC via USB cable, plug the PSP into the wall, then turn both units on. On the PSP, click the "USB Connection" button (on the Settings menu) and, hopefully, your PC will beep and tell you that it's found a new "removable disk": your PSP.
Using Windows Explorer, find the new PSP device and if there isn't already a folder called PHOTO on it, create one as you ordinarily would create a folder in Windows. Now just drop in any JPEG images you'd like to have viewable on your PSP while on the go.

For Card reader:

Take the memory card (pro duo) from your PSP and plug it to your card reader. Your computer should be able t recognize that as a new removable media. Using Windows Explorer, find the new PSP device and if there isn't already a folder called PHOTO on it, create one as you ordinarily would create a folder in Windows. Now just drop in any JPEG images you'd like to have viewable on your PSP while on the go.

Sigma card reader/writer doesn't recognize my new SD card

Hello,

What I suspect here is that, the USB port that you are using is a USB 1.0 port, which has a lower voltage not enough to power on your Storage drive.

In this case, there are two things you can do,

1. Change the USB port you are using for the storage drive to a USB 2.0 one (Just keep Checking all the ports one by one in case you dont know which one it is).

2. If your Storage drive has external power facility, just plug it in an external power first, before connecting it to the system.

If there are no USB 2.0 Ports on your system at all,

then just go to any electronic store and tell them you want to buy a USB 2.0 Expansion card.

and if it is a laptop, A USB 2.0 PCMCIA card.

Install it on your system, and connect your external drive through it.

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck

Memory stick pro duo sony won't read

Files on a flash drive and memory cards in a card reader can be corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon and then click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flash drive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the memory card and flash drive you may need to format the flash drive, but you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.
If you need the data on the flash drive these WEB sites may help: -

Photos from pc to sd

The easiest way to do this would be to buy a card reader for you PC. You can buy an external one that plugs into the USB port.

Another way is to used a computer with a SD reader and upload it into a flash drive. Once you have the flash drive, you can upload the pictures using your flash drive into the frame.
