It might be your starter motor is stuck or u/s also the battery could be flat, the best way to try and start it is to get a freind to turn the vehicle ignition while at the same time you tap the starter motor, if it starts turn it off and try again, but not tapping it, if it works by itself you have a sticking solinoid on your starter motor, if all it does is click, try checking the battery for power, anymore help just reply hope that helps
Change the battery
Your battery is dead try to charge it or use jumper pack to start, and you might need a new battery or if car wont run when jumper is removed you will need a altinator hope this helps :)
I like the sticking selinoid answer but you need to clean all the connections first. Clean the battery connections first & retighten. Clean the starter connections but first disconnect the negative ground cable at the battery. If the car still wont start, remove & replace the starter. A rebuilt starter should be O.K. provided the warranty is a good one with at least a 3 month coverage. Good luck!

That Clicking is the Battery causing it not to Start. You need to Replace that Battery or at Least put a Charger on it for a Couple of hours to see if you can Salvage it for a While.

It is your battery it may not be completly dead but it is too dead to run the starter. It take 300 -600 amp to run a starter and 20 amp to run a stereo

Sounds like a bad starter solenoid, usually cheapest and easiest to replace the starter and solenoid as a unit. It is always best to check for power between the solenoid and the starter with a test light, if the solenoid clicks but the test light doesn't light up you have found the problem in the solenoid.

There are a number of things that could cause that. Try turning the key to the on position and crossing the starter terminals with a screwdriver. If it starts you have a bad ignition. If it still just clicks your starter has seized up or your battery might be lacking the charge to do the job. Hope these help you.
