you can program channel either in the remote control or in the tv button panel. press menu then go to manual fine tune so you can program the channel one by one. you can use the volume up/down button to tuned the desired channel. to select channel use the channel up/down button.

Hi,this will never works if your remote is not programmed for your tv set, if the original remote is not works you can fixed by cleaning it
any thoshiba remote will works its all the same frequency

For the majority of phillips/magnavox universal remotes: Hold code search button down till red light satys on. Press the tv button and the red light should blink and stay lit. With the tv on, push the power button repeatedly until the tv turns off.(dont push the power button again after the tv turns off or it will go to the next code). Push the mute button to save the setting.

go to setup in menu from fromt of set. do 1st time setup ...tell it you do NOT have a cable box. if it thinks you have one it deletes all channels but 3.

first try to manuall select your av channell from your tv's remote control,if this won't work try another scart cable or port on your tv set
