The DM moduel ,Located on Left side of TV chassis has fan in or on side of moduel, If so inside DM is 4 capacitors

I've run into that a couple of times that code does point to a board problem. However it can also be caused by a cold solder joint on one of the CRT deflection yokes (very often it is the RED CRT that has it.) you can try tapping gently around the yokes to see if set will power on and shut off.If you get a reaction that's your problem! Unplug set and get a closer look at the wires that are soldered at the yoke. You may have to loosen the yoke in order to get at the wires. If you can repair connection without moving the yoke that would be the way to go.Warning! If you have to loosen the yoke make sure you get it back in the original position as this will affect picture!!! you may still need to do a light touch up in the converegence as it is sometimes difficult to get it back exactly as it was before. Good luck.

Green blinking light ws-55859 tv wont turn on. We have uplugged....still nothing

The blinking light is what's known as the blink code. The blink code tells you what the problem is. To find out what it means, count the number of times the light flashes then Google your make and model with the words blink code added to the end. This will show you links to sites that will tell you what the problem is.
