Unable to Load software

I have upgraded to Windows 7 and my software will not load. My camera is not very old but I understand it has been discontinued. This camera will be no benefit to me because I cannot upload my hard drive. Do I have another way of uploading?

Did you try uploading using a firewire card and firewire cable? It is an alternative to USB and is the most preferred way of transferring video from the camcorder these days. Also did you try uploading the video using windows movie maker? COnnect your camcorder to your computer and press the capture from camera option to capture the video on your camcorder to your computer. If you have already tried everything then the simplest way to transfer is to remove the 1.5" hard drive connect it to your computer(your computer should have SATA connector), transfer the video and put the hard drive back into the camcorder. Might sound crazy but its a very effective way considering the fact that it is quite easy to remove the hard disk from most camcorders.

Let me know if you need more help,
Sai.

I have windows 7 and the futura software will not load into my singer quantum 200. I had no problems with my old computer which had windows xp. is there an updated futura software? Please help

Yes, there is. Go to http://www.futura-support.com/downloads/ce150.html. Read the instructions VERY carefully. You will need to have the 2.5 Futura upgrade, which is available for $99 at Jenny's Sewing http://cart.jennys-sewing-studio.com/.

In case you do have your old version of Windows XP lying around and don't care to spend the money on the upgrade, there is another alternative, though it does take a few more steps. But I use it currently on my machine to run my Futura and it works beautifully. It's available at http://www.fixya.com/support/r8955271-use_machine_windows_7_or_vista and will allow you to run any old XP software on a Vista or Windows 7 machine, but only if you have your old Windows XP software available.

Either way, be sure you follow the instructions carefully. With the upgrade, I have two friends who I've upgraded their software to run their Futura's this way and they both are working fine. As I said, I use the 2nd way and have been for month's. Good luck!

hiyou have to load the drive file in your new lap top. or you just can use an external memory card reader which i recommend more for the sake of your camera. the camera's usb port are not that strong. if you just plan to download picture file. Please use external one. It cost less than $10 or free sometime in fry's electronic.

It may not be compatible with Windows 7. Go to the support section of the Panasonic website and see if they have any downloads available for Windows 7.

It seems to me like this program is not designed for Windows 7.
This has happened many times. Microsoft always upgrade but, do not include the words, " Previous Software may not work with new O/S. "
Im afraid this software will not work on Win 7. Sorry.
However you could try to ask Corel online if they have an upgrade, for this prog, for win 7. Hope this helps.
