Fuji Finepix Z won't load photos onto my computer

My camera is only about 2 months old. I have some new photos on the camera that I want to upload to my computer, but when I connect it using the USB chord, it recognises the camera but says that there are no new photos. I loaded one batch of photos fine, but for some reason it now is not seeing any of the new photos to download them.

Niamh I just got a Fuji FinePix J110w and it won't load my photos onto my computer either. I called the tech support number and he said I had to have a memory card. My manual says I should be able to take them from internal memory.

I have recently upgraded to windows 7 and now am unable to upload my photos from my finepix110w camera. I have re installed the software, but it still doesn't recognise the camera when attached.

SOURCE: Fuji Finepix Z won't load photos onto my computer

check the memory disc it might be full in which case it is best to save the pics onto your computer and then wipe the disc for room to take more pics.

E900 wont upload pictures to my PC

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Windows Photo Gallery or any other photo cataloging program.

Did you try contacting Fujifilm online support? This may be because you have not registered from the new computer to whatever program you are trying to connect. If your problem is about running the software already installed, why not consider using third-part software to download, and edit your photos. picasa for example.

When your son uninstalled the program, the drivers for your camera went with it. You could start using a card reader to download your pics...it's much easier and foolproof.
