I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher, model# 665.15912001. When trying to start nothing happens. I've verified the machine has power. Diagnostics will run and all LED's illuminate upon the start of a diagnostic run. In addition, it appears to cycle and pump correctly while in diagnostics. The electronic control board and heater assembly were replaced but it did not resolve the problem. The thermistor reads about 61K ohms at room temperature and about 12K ohms when hot water is poured in the tub. The continuity of the thermal fuse (TCO) reads 0.2 ohms. Also when checked with a DMM, the overfill and door switches seem to operate correctly.
Yeah, I have a similar problem. I tried to go into a suggested diagnostic run, but that didn't yield anything. I tried pushing the Sani-Rinse and Air Dry buttons back and forth a number of times. Didn't help.
At first I thought the lock-on had accidently been engaged, but disengaging the "child lock" doesn't help. The lock-on light comes back on and sometimes blinks rapidly. I"ve counted around 7 rapid blinks at times and 3 rapid blinks at other times--in case that makes a difference. The control panel doesn't work--in other words, the dishwasher does not start, even when I can successfully get other lights to come on. I don't want to spend >$100. for a new control panel if that is not really the problem.

I have the same problem. Dishwasher won't start, but has power and lights up. I haven't started randomly replacing parts yet, but I'd really like to not call in a service man.
Water will not enter dishwasher, however if you throw a glass full of water in the dishwasher it will drain ( I did this to check drainage)

new development on my Kenmore 665.1777... Now, when it chooses to run (which is rarely), every 15 seconds or so, it momentarily stops (as all the control panel lights go out), and then it starts back up after about a half second.
Just the same problem, nothing happens when I try to start it. Is there a reset on it that I could easily use?
