I have the same pollaroid tv/dvd model 1913-TDXB. We were watching a DVD when suddenly in the middle of the movie the dvd stop and the TV shut off by it's self. We turned it back on and reinstalled the DVD. It just keep saying it was loading then said there were no DVD. We tried and other DVD and it said the same thing. We have only watch movies 12 times in the year we have had the unit....???

Ok, first I need to have the model # so I can down load the manual and walk you thru the operation.

ok turnthe TV on and insert a disc, on the remote press the TV button furst this tells the remote to operate the TV only. then press the input button at the bottom left use the arrow up or arrow down in the center of the remote and high light the DVD input then press OK. then press guide and the internal DVD operation menu comes up. page 29 of the manual will guide you thru what the symbles mean. use the arrows on the remote( also known as the curser buttons) to highlight the operation you would like then press OK. play = the >, pause = II.

I have a Polaroid TV/DVD combo. It took the DVD in, won't play it nor will it eject now. How do I get the DVD back?

Tries the tv unplug/replug the tv back for about an hour later for the tv power to reset itself.At this time u will able to eject the DVD disc out.Don't tries to used the tv intergrated DVD player anymore.The tv intergrated DVD player laser head and the spin motor for the dvd disc spinner it is defective now.Buy a portable cheap or a moderate unit of a outer DVD player and hook up to the tv AV input.Play it through the tv input video 1,2,3 u should have a DVD player capatablities again.

19 inch slyvania tv/dvd combo turn on play button stays on and the the tv goes to red green yellow and blue screen and won't do anything else

I have been having just about the same problem with mine, i can watch the tv for about 20 min and then the dvd player comes on by itself then it goes to red, green, yellow, and black and white, i've tried resetting the dvd player to default but it hasn't helped mine.When i try to turn it off it automaticly comes back on so i have to unplug it.If i find a way to make mine work right i will send you a message to let you know so you can try it on yours. I've had mine just over a year and i don't have a warrenty anymore.

you need to program the channels of your tv.to do it consult your owners manual..go to the menuand select auto program and the tv will automatic seach the channels

Bought in October, the remote stopped working. Have to manually push the buttons (below the front panel) to have any function work. Have changed batteries and even bought a universal remote, to no avail....

I suggest that you take it back to the supplier for a free repair. (You DID register the warranty didn't you!).

Ur injection button function is stuck or malfunction,return it for warenty repair,tries this couple time see if this is the prob.for certian.tries it with other dvd disks.

Adjusting darkness

Hi Angel,
Are you really sure , your set has video? How dark is it ? As if really nothing visible? Am, sure you can hear sounds. You can adjust the brightness + button to increase the brightness. But if nothing happens , you have problem with your TV set. The problem might be in the Video section. Please let an expert technician to check it. Please don't do it by yourself, it's risky.
