I have a Samsung LA40M81BD LCD TV, I went out and bought a sansui dvd player as it was listed in the instruction manual of the samsung tv with a 3 digit code that was supose to mean I could use the remote for the sansui dvd, alas this is not so.... does the samsung remote have a function to search for correct codes or do you know any other codes to try!!! Thanks

many of the dish remotes have a "scan" option. This is what the installers use. You'll ned to read the manual. Its a one page explanation.

I contacted Comcast and here are your codes for the three way remote with DVR Samsung 10812, 10766, 10814. I have the same TV Samsung LN32A330 and it was the very first code for my TV! Hope this cuts down your frustration!

Check all your connections in the back, if they're all good replace the main board in the tv.
