Disk drives usually won't take a mini disk. As an alternative location for the drivers for the adapter, check the Nexxtech website. I can't link specifics as I don't know what model you have.
Right click on the disk and click explore. If the files are stored separately on the disk you can simply copy them to you hard drive. I would assume they would be in .jpeg .bmp extensions.
After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the
