While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Start
Select Organizer
Select Alarms
From the Alarm screen, highlight Wake up alarm (1)
Press the left soft key for Edit
Press the OK key to check a box, then enter the time for the wake-up alarm, using the keypad
Press the OK key to check the boxes for the desired days of the week
Highlight Tone, using the navigation keys
Select a melody for the alarm Tone, using the navigation keys
Highlight Snooze, using the navigation keys
Select a Snooze time interval, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Done to set the Wake-up alarm
Note: You can set up to 3 different wake-up alarm times, but not on the same day

You can turn the sound on or off for your washing machine. When the sound function is set to off, you will not hear the Addwash alarm, the melody of the cycle completion and the power-off beep sound. The other sounds will stay active though.



To mute the sound, press and hold Options for 3 seconds.
To unmute the sound, press and hold Options again for 3 seconds.
Your setting will be kept even after restarting the machine.


This process to turn the sound on/off does not apply to all Samsung washing machines, but the alarms being turned on/off remain the same.

How do i turn off the alarm on my Samsung galaxy mini
Go to Settings > SOUND > Silent mode (No sounds except media and alarms).
If this is ticked (on), it means alarm will sound even if you make the phone silent.
Regarding the loud sound even after reducing ringer volume, no idea for this.

Comcast Digital Voice/ADT alam system
The 2 jacks on the back of the Arris modem are labeled "1/2" & "2". The first jack labeled "1/2" means that the jack is capable supporting 2 different phone numbers, a line 1 and a line 2. The second jack labeled "2" means that it is capable of supporting only a second phone number. Therefore your 1 phone number is working correctly from the port labeled "1/2".

There are different types of phone splitters. It is possible that the one you used may have been to split lines 1 & 2 on a single jack into two seperate jacks. Take a closer look at the splitter and see if the 2 ports are labeled differently.

Removed alarm system; now phone won't work
In the alarm system there was a jack called an RJ31X. This jack is suposed to have the line run from the teleco interface to it and then back out to the rest of the house(except for DSL, it stays ir front of the alarm jack). When the alarm jack was cut out the line bridge was eliminated. To make the line active find the wire that went to the alarm jack and and connect the red wire to the yellow wire and the green wire to the black wire. that should pass the line through to the remainder of the jacks in the house.

To deactivate an alarm:-

1. In idle mode, tap 'Menu' then tap 'Alarms'.
2. Tap the alarm you wish to deactivate.
3. Tap again to enter the alarm settings.
3. Tap 'Alarm activation' to highlight, then tap again to select to 'Off'
4. Tap 'Save'.
