SOURCE: battery life

I bought a few SL400R.. yes I think this is the best camera ever. The battery that came with the cameras always would last very short time, especially in cold weather. But when I ordered new ones online, these would last very long. The specs of the new batteries are the same as the original ones. Go figure. After that I ordered external charger too, so I dont need to use the camera's built-in charger. Works very well.

SOURCE: my camera won't charge

I have the same battery charging problem to my SL400, after I bought the new battery and tried, the situation was the same, then I suspect the battery contacts becuase the camera can work fine with the charger plug in. After I press the battery end with some pressure, the charging light returns, then I checked the contact inside the camera, I found no dirty on contacts but they all flat, it means the battery contacts are losen contact with the camera charging contact. After I carefully tilt each contact upwards a bit (about 2 mm) then let the contact returns to normal, it works. but I don't know how long I need this repeat job and has to be careful not too break the contact, I think the contact tension is getting old.

Where to buy a new CCD for Kyocera SL400R? What is the part number of this blessed CCD ?

You could try Kyocera, but I don't think they still have 10 year old CCD's in stock. And if they have, it could be more expensive then a brand new DSLR. And even if you have a CCD, who will replace it and what reassurance do you have nothing else is defect in the camera.
After 10 years perhaps you should try to accept the camera is beyond repair and new camera's now perform better and faster, for less money.

How to get my kyocera torque to turn on

Unfortunately the phone is fried. I had this happen to me also. Took it in to a Sprint store and they ordered me a new one at no charge. Kyocera is still working out the bugs on this phone.

If my vehicle receices a jump start and it won't hold a charge , what is wrong with it ?

Depends.
If the alternator is charging, and the battery will not hold a charge, I would suspect the battery.
If the alternator is not charging the battery, I would look at the fuseable links and connections.

Htc evo 4g shift won't charge or turn on and I

Have you attempted taking the battery out and while the battery is out holding down the power button for a few seconds? If this doesn't work,
First test your charger to ensure proper charging. Clean charging ports. Remove battery and clean brass contacts with alcohol and q-tip
