Here is the LG site for washing machine error codes, you can scroll down and find the FE code there:
http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000010-20150140270078-other-error-codes
The site shows the following:
The FE error code indicates the washer is overfilling. This is usually the result of a faulty water valve.
1. Close both water taps.
2. In order to drain out any trapped water, power the washer back on and press the Spin Speed button until No Spin is selected and press the Start/Pause button.
3. Once the washer has drained, restart the wash cycle.
Now that I'm in, this is the following that led up to it's death.
Note: I added a couple of new s/w apps, and a usb webcam (by hp, 1.3 megapixel), and the s/w associated with it.
The next day, I started getting stop errors gallore, starting with,
0xD1 (ox80005490, 00,0x08, 80005490)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm: Bad device driver
- I got this one twice in rapid succession.
0X8D (not sure, as it isn't listed on thehttp://aumha.org/a/stop.htm site)
0xC2
BAD_POOL_CALLER http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm: Faulty driver, buggy software.
I removed the software associated with the webcam.
0XFE (twice)
BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm: USB driver problem, make sure you have the latest windows sp around (I have version 3 with most of the hotfixes already there)
0x50 (0xf0afcsa,00,BF8071CD,0000) win32k.sys address: bf8071cd base @bf8071cd
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm: lots of possibilities.
After all this crud, I decided go back about a week on system restore to teh time I installed skype.
(this removed the webcam and 3 or 4 other installs I ran after that. None of those installs were ever redone.)
I had about 1.5 days of peace before I started getting errors again, this time the last of the two before not getting any BIOS screen up.:
I had a search up, email program and windows media, without the internet going
0x7F (twice)
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
One of three types of problems occurred in kernel-mode: (1) Hardware failures. (2) Software problems. (3) A bound trap (i.e., a condition that the kernel is not allowed to have or intercept). Hardware failures are the most common cause (many dozen KB articles exist for this error referencing specific hardware failures) and, of these, memory hardware failures are the most common.
So, after the second error in as many minutes, I went ahead and removed one of the memory banks of the laptop, and turned it on again. Nothing.
I put it back in, nothing.
I removed both memory banks, nothing.
I removed the hard drive nothing
Makes me wonder if the whole computer was, "on it's way out" before I added the additional hardware/software, or this just exacerbated it.
Nothing= no BIOS screen, nothing.
So, I've now got a laptop that will turn on, but not show me a BIOS screen. Is this a mobo failure or worse? By the stop errors I was getting, methinks it is exactly that.
Please shed some light on this issue, and happy reading!
