HI YES THE BOARD IS PROBABLY BLOWN ! ITS USUALLY 3 SMALL COMPONENTS TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE BOARD (WITH THE CIRCUITRY FACING YOU) THAT BLOW ONE OF THEM IS USUALLY PRETTY VISIBLE (THE LARGER OF THE 3) THE OTHER 2 ARE VERY SMALL & DIFFICULT TO SEE THAT THEY ARE BLOWN (I DO THIS BY CATCHING THEM IN THE LIGHT THEN YOU CAN USUALLY SEE A TINY BLACK DOT IN THE CENTRE OF EACH OF THE 2 COMPONENTS) YOU WILL ALSO FIND THAT MOST OF THE TIME THE FIRST BIT OF CIRCUIT TRACK FROM THE RIGHT HAND SIDE IS USUALLY BLOWN BUT THIS IS EASY TO SEE.THESE CIRCUIT BOARDS ARE SOMETIMES REPAIRABLE ALTHOUGH DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE COMPONENTS VERY TRICKY IF YOU DONT HAVE A STEADY HAND LOL! I HAVE REPAIRED THESE BOARDS MANY TIMES AS ITS A LOT CHEAPER THAN BUYING A NEW ONE AS THEY RETAIL AT 85-95 POUNDS! THEY ALSO NEED TO BE CONFIGURED TO WORK WITH THE MODEL THAT YOU HAVE
Hello mate if you undue the three screws behind the soap draw and remove the front contol panel complete with the pcb board.. just undue all the wiring pulgs and jotting down which wire goes back where. Once the complete panel is out unclip the pcb from the front panel and you can see if it is blown or not..
10 out of 10 the pcb board is blown.....
hope this helps.... Its either you carbons on your motor which do it or the door interlock.. 65 % of the time its the carbon brushes wearing out on the motor that blow the pcb
if you need any more help let us know....
cheers the doctor

After a power cut I have the same problem as robbo. I guess the power cut also blew up the pcb so I will check it out. How much does a pcb cost and where do I find one?
Thanks for the clue doc.
The transistor has blown (part of it is gone). I am capable of replacing the part but don't know what to order. What did you replace it with? Waht were the other components to blow too please?
