Hello I've had my stove top Bialetti for many years, and its worked beautifully. However, recently I've had a lot of problems with it. It is taking much longer for the coffee to brew, and in fact it does not use most of the water in the receptacle. The little coffee that is coming out has boiled and is much too intense to drink. Help! I've replaced the gasket and checked the grind. No luck. Can the problem lie in the basket, which is now slightly dented and irregular?

I do not supect the basket just make sure it is not blocked with limescale or other debris as this will reduce the flow of steam through your coffee grounds.
if this is ok then check the pressure release valve on the lower chamber it may be open or defective see if steam is coming out of it when your use your machine if you do not get pressure in your lower chamber it can not lift all the water to the top.
i do not know if the pressure release valve is a replaceable part.

My Bialetti Venus 4 cup stove top espresso maker doesn't work any more on my induction stove after 2 years. Bottom is slightly warped. Is that the problem ?

It's probably been left on too long after the coffee has brewed; the base has over heated & warped, like mine!
I didn't notice there was a problem till we recently changed cooktops to flat glass top (non-induction) type where previously we had electric coils. Now the Bieletti rocks on the cooktop & takes longer to brew because there is less area of contact with the heat.
I suspect the only solution would be to get the bottom welded & machined flat. I wouldn't be worth paying for the job to be done if you can't do it yourself. I doubt if it can be bashed flat but ...?

I'd like to hear if any other fixit solutions.

How can I clean the melted rubber seal from a Bialetti Top Espresso Machine?

I scraped off as much melted rubber as possible - using my thumb nail - then used a product called Goo Gone to melt the remaining rubber. I put Goo Gone on an old cloth and rubbed off the remainder of the rubber - again with my thumb nail.

I just purchased a Bialetti stainless steel 6-cup stove top espresso maker. I cleaned it, assembled it according to the instructions, and went to brew my first coffee. I didn't grind the coffee too fine,...

There is a valve in the compartment where you place your fresh, cold water. This valve must not be covered as it is necessary in building up steam pressure to push the brewed espresso upwards. Also, most stove espresso makers have a rubber type gasket that is usually placed on the base of the upper part of the maker. Check that you have a gasket.

I melted the rubber seal in my 4 cup Bialetti coffee maker. I forgot to put the water in it. Now I am trying to remove the smelly melted rubber from inside the threads and and coffee holder. Please how can...

I have the same problem. Scraped most of the rubber off mine with a knife. I'm going to try steel-wool next, as the whole thing is stainless-steel (or perhaps in your case, Aluminium), it should take a good sound beating.
I wonder if there are any solvents that would dissolve the rubber?

I just bought the Bialetti Moka Sound 6 cups for 1 day. And it is not sound. What should I do? I have read one said that I have to change the battery at knob but I have no idea to open it at all. Anyway,...

First I'm not a Bialetti tech. But I have worked on may brands of professional espresso machines.
* When you mentioned this stove top model 'sounds off' I just had to check it out. The you tube videos are going nuts over this 'cute' brewer. Especially the Italian tubers.
* I found a link for you to change the battery. It's more obvious on the white cap model. So I'm guessing you have the black knob style (or they changed it to make it more visible.) Cute music but notice all the vids have the steaming louder than the music.

Espresso irregularly spurts out the center post

It IS the gasket!!!!! Store the pot with the two parts screwed TIGHTLY together for about a week. Tighten it up as the new gasket compresses. Problem solved in two weeks or less. Funnel had NOTHING to do with my problem. Also cook on medium to low heat. High flame seems to make the problem worse.

I need a new funnel for my vev vigano kontessa 6 cup stove top espresso

Usually most stove top espresso makers manufacture these parts to the same standard. Take your old funnel, go to a kitchen store where they sell Bialetti, and compare their funnel size to your funnel size (for the same size put). I noticed that usually, it's the rubber gaskets that may differ slightly. Or you could email customer service of www.vev-vigano.com.

Bialetti will not make coffee

I would check the grind size you are using. Maybe it is ground too thin and the pressure cannot push through.

Also, remove screen and washer and make sure passage to the top is clear.
