I am trying to hook up my dish cable ( the one that is a circle with a needle in the middle) to the back of the TV so I can get television but there is no place to plug it in. What do I do?
If the cable comes from the dish, then unless you have a freesat tv that will not connect into your tv.The cable from a dish normaly connects into a sky box or cable box.You need a cable from an aerial to connect into the tv.

Tries tv and the dish box unplug, replug it back an hour later for the tv to do a restting itself back to the factory setting and dish box to reboot and upgraded it software. This no signal problems should be fixed, not request another dish box for the replacement, because tv have no signal input bouncing around in the tv screen it is 90%-95% are broadcasting receiver boxes for tv incomming signal cable for tv signal problems.
hi, Check the version of the hdmi cable you used. Try to use hdmi cable version 1.3 or above . Also try hdmi cable with version 1.2 .Version of the cable is very important one. ok
The easiest way to connect this is to find the cable going from the receiver to the TV and disconnect it from the TV. Connect this cable to the back of the stereo receiver where it says "in" or "input". Next take another cable and connect it from the stereo receiver output to the TV.
if you have like a dvd player then try hooking the xbox up to it in the front where the video is for the 3 plugs then try to plug dish network in the back of the dvd where the ant in plug is at then take the cord from the dvd player and plug it in the back of the tv if this dont work let me know
You will need to run a set of audio cables from the TV1 output on the rear of the 625 directly to one of the three audio inputs on the surround system. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
try getting an rf modulator, they are about 20 bucks at walmart, i had to do that for my dad, his tv had the hookups but it still wouldn't work. try that you might be able to hook up the dvd, tv, and dish network plugs all in one.
Without knowing the actual ports on each of these devices, all I can suggest is that have you tried connecting your DVD to the Dish box (thru VCR scart connection at the back of the Dish box) and then the Dish box into your modulator (and then modulator into your tv.
I have a similar system set up but we have a Sky Digital box here, no idea if its the same as a Dish box but im assuming so.
I unhooked the new tv and hooked up the old one to see what channel it was on and then rehooked up the new tv and put it on the same channel as the old one. This worked but I also had to put the cable into the hook up on the back marked cable instead of the one marked HDTV.
