Generally this error means you got the wrong version of the dll installed. IE you are running XP and installed one for Win98 and the one for XP is slightly different.

Sometimes this is a path issue and all you need to do is to copy (not move) the DLL and put it with the others in System32

Is this just one dll? If so what is it?
What application and what consequence?

using your example
go to start / run and type
regsvr32 xxxx.dll
hit enter and wait for it to say success

Your Operating System is corrupted, probably by a virus or a program you recently installed.

You might get this if the file mcenspc.dll is leftout while uninstalling some program or when attempted to elimitate spyware or malware through spyware scan.

This has proved not to be a threat and it is safe to remove from the Computer. To do this :

1. Click Start -> Run -> Type System32 -> Ok
2. Look for mcenspc.dll
3. Right Click on the file and click Delete
4. Reboot the computer

sure..sounds like it needs a re install of the operating system, as that image is not a photographic one, but a digital image..if this is a new one for you, then a reinstallation is needed. if you did not get the disks, then you will need new software too.

Under Add/Remove Programms choose repair then reboot and re start Photofire. The Application might have become corrupted.
