Replaced battery mouse wont work

You need to activate -push and release- the "connect" button on your receiving unit (connected to the computer), and in the same time the push and release the "connect" button on your mouse, (under the mouse). Good luck.

Logitech mouse is'nt working

You might try re-syncing the mouse with the wireless sender. Push the button on the sender (plugged into usb port usually) and then push the button on the bottom of the mouse.

My wireless mouse stopped working; I changed the batteries and still no light. Can you suggest a solution? I tried the connect button but no change. Thanks for any help!

usually there is a button on the bottom of the wireless mouse that you can push at the same time you push the button on the mouse adapter on the pc. Simulataneously push both and see if that doesn't help.

If that doesn't work, change batteries. If that doesn't work, uninstall the mouse and reboot. Software should reinstall.

Hotkey problems

I had the same problem but finally found a solution hidden in the depths of Logitech. It's quoted below. I had to do it a couple of times before it worked, and it seems that you need to reconnect the mouse at the same time. I didn't the first time and then the keyboard refused to work. (Finger trouble?) :-(

Cheers,
Magani

You may be able to reset the keyboard and resolve the problem by clearing the keyboard capacitors. To do this, remove the batteries from the keyboard and type continuously on as many keys as possible for one to two minutes. This action should simulate touch-typing; you should not press and hold only some keys down.
After you clear the capacitors, replace the batteries and synchronize the keyboard using the following procedure:
  1. Make sure the batteries are in correctly. A diagram on the device itself or in the Getting Started Guide should tell you the correct polarity for the batteries.
  2. Press the connect button on the receiver.
  3. Press the connect button on the bottom or right hand edge of the keyboard.
NOTE: If you are using a Cordless Desktop System, you must do this procedure for both the mouse and the keyboard.
The "Connect" button on the mouse is quite small and usually requires a pencil tip or other small object to push it. Remember, ALL Logitech cordless devices will have a synchronization button. If you have the "Cordless Mouse" with Model Number (M/N) M-RN67, the button will be located in a small hole on the lower portion of the back of the mouse. You will need a paper clip to access the button.

Connectivity problem with Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Keyboard and Mouse

if the mouse is a Bluetooth wireless mouse, which by the way you describe the instructions for reconnecting it sounds like it could be the case, you press the buton on the corded reciever unit first, wait a few seconds and press the button on the mouse. This should synchronize your mouse and your PC.

in order to give you more details than that, i would need to know the model of mouse you're using.
