Logitech cordless mouse red light won't go off - New Batteries

The change battery indicator came on my Logitech cordless optical mouse. I changed the batteries but the "Red" light and the "change
battery" indicators are still on.
How do I get the light to go away.
Thanks,

Check the bottom of the mouse for a connect button. Push the connect button and it should work.

My logitech V220 optical mouse won't work, I changed the batteries.

Hi three, uninstall the Logitech V220 Cordless optical mouse driver from the laptop and then restart the laptop again. Now install that Logitech V220 Cordless optical mouse driver again . I am sure its will start working. If not then make sure your batter Is properly fixed inside in the mouse & that's fully charged. After those thing if still not working then visit service center, because the mouse censer stop working and its damaged.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

Change battery

Hi,

If it is cordless, it has batteries. You can usually tell if the small red light is off on the bottom.

Most mice have the battrey compartment in the rear half of the top of the mouse. The rear half slides off. Something like this:

Yours will probably hold 2 AA batteries. If it is one of the smaller ones it may have the battery compartment underneath and take 2 AAA batteries.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for using Fixya.

I don't know how to open and change batteries. I assuming the batteries are dead because red light won't stay on

Just above the Logitech symbol, you'll see 3 small arrows indicating the direction you should slide the cover off.)))

Haven't used mouse in a while. Green light on

Hello,

Yes, new batteries should correct this problem for you. It's recommended if you will not use the mouse for more than 2 weeks, take the batteries out.

Good luck

Logitech mouse blinks red after hanging battries

If this is a cordless Optical mouse it uses a red optical beam to sense the surface below it. This is how it moves the pointer. If this is the same mouse/keyboard combo I have it does not have any other lights on the mouse itself.

It is quite annoying when its dark in the room since the bottom is somewhat transparent.

Changed the batteries now the mouse doesn't work

Hi there.
Underneath the mouse there should be a small button which is the connect button, press that and also the button on the docking station if there is one.
Also check to make sure the batteries are in the right way as its an easy mistake to make.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

I just purchased the Logitech LX7 Cordless it does not work

I assume the mouse worked before on this computer.

My experience: Green light on isn't a good indicator.
Try new batteries. Rechargables any kind, when discharged drop power quite quickly.

Regards.

Cordless Mouse Just quit working While In Use

Most cordless mouse I saw has a reset button. Press this button, make sure you're in the transmission distance from the receiver when you do this.

Cordless Mouse Just quit working While In Use

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
