The pump could either be broken or clogged for your washing machine.Or the drain hose is broken or clogged or the switch assembly is not working anymore. A person that fixes washing machines would need to take a look and see what the problem is.

please check if the water outlet pipe is clear by blowing down it to see weather the pipe is clear as the machine wont move on until the water is emptied from the last cycle it needs to empty the wash water first before spin cycle can start, its worth a try eric

Top loader machine has power and goes through the normal cycle wash/eco rinse/spin fills with water when has too and empties, the only thing is when in wash cylce it doesnt agitate and when in spin cycle...

if the washer is a Whirlpool brand then it is likely the coupling between the motor and the transmission.

My washing machine samsung sw80asp doesnt full up fast anymore. and then when it gets to the spin it comes up with erra 7E.

One easy thing to try is to remove your fill hoses and clean or discard them screens

Washer wont spin on normal or heavy loads but it will spin on knit loads? It spins counter clockwise on knit loads but doesnt spin clockwise on normal or heavy loads.

Sounds like the motor. Motors work in two directions and one direction can die while the other one works.

Check out your belt. It should "give" about half an inch, or it would be too loose or tight. Change if loose. Also check out your outlet filter. Refer to manual.
