If you have downloaded the software from web and if you have installed it then

just click on run and then Type %temp% and hit enter
look for a folder name starting with 7z
open that folder
go to setup folder
go to trayapp folder
and then repair the trayapp.msi file by doing a right click on it and i am sure this will do

Although this is not a complete solution, it will stop the annoyance of the TrayApp message flashing at you, and also the possible disruption to the updating of software. I'm not a computer nerd, but the answer is quite a simple one. From 'Start' select 'Run'; type MSCONFIG and press enter; on the next window you have several tabs, one of which is StartUp - click on that; scroll down the next screen toward the end to find TrayApp - and simply disable it, by clicking on the + sign. Job done.

Trayapp

What Tray App? Malware? Virus? What program did you try to remove it with? If it's a startup program, not a Virus or Malware, what is the issue? You can disable any startup program using CCLEANER freeware found here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
. This freeware program cleans the junk from your machine and in the TOOLS section, STARTUP section, Disable ALL unnessary startup programs. This will improve startup speed and running speed.

Trayapp keeps poping up. how can i get rid of this?

Hello there, to get rid of it the first thing you have to do is determine what it does on your unit as definitely it is meant to support one of the programs you are running on your PC.Secondly as you dont know exactly what it runs i would give you a temporary fix. Go to the task bar(This is the strip at the bottom where you have your icons) right click on it and select start task manager. When you start the task manager click on processes and from the list search for trayapp and click on end process. this should stop it from popping up.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Click on the tab above labled "Start Up"

Scroll down list of things that you want to close or not have started by pc by unchecking the boxes on left.

Pay attention to finding the name "TrayApp" it could be labeled differently and uncheck box on left

I purchased a refurbished Samsung monitor SuncMaster 2233. It came with no instructions or installation disk. It is asking me to install the "TrayApp" disk

TrayApp isn't related to the Samsung, it's part of the HP printer driver suite. If you have an HP printer, then put in the HP driver CD when it asks for the "TrayApp" disk and you'll be all set.

My HPG7035EA freezes just after I log onto windows

You can try the computer without Windows by booting from a Linux Mint USB drive. Look on ebay.

If it works fine with this then Windows has a problem.

If it locks up on Mint then the computer hardware has a problem.

The usual problem with laptops is overheating due to a blocked fan.

TrayApp wants to be installed after booting up computer

Go to start>run> type in msconfig> see if there is an entry for the TrayApp, if there is unchek the box next to it.

Do you have a multifunction HP Printer?
Is so stick in your cd and try to re-install
Also:
Do you have Novell on your PC:
trayapp.exe is a Novell iFolder belonging to Novell iFolder from Novell, Inc.
Seems like most applications have a "TrayApp" installer, hopefully the above will help you.
You can go into the registry and find it, but try this first.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
