How do I get my Dell A920 to work on my new HP

you need to down l oad t he latest drivers for the dell printer

You need to download the updated driver.

Did you install the drivers. If so goto divice manager and enable the divice.

to get that issue resolved try downloading the latest vista drivers for the printer from the dell website and this would resolve the issue

have u installed all the software from the cd? here is the manual http://support.euro.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/a920/en/index.htm

It could be related to Vista. Check Dells website to see if they have a Vista driver for it.

If you have another USB Cable you can try swapping it.

If you have a spare USB Port, you can try swapping that as well.

The Dell printers sold right now are Lexmark printers manufactured specifically for Dell. Dell only sells Windows PCs so there are no printer drivers for the Macintosh OS. I?m surprised your Mac doesn?t at lest recognize the printers presence but even if it did there are no software drivers so it isn?t going to work. Sorry for the bad news, please don?t shoot the messenger :)
