The cable that came with it to connect it to your computer is the charger. It does not plug into an outlet..it charges while hooked to your computer.

    Different devices vary, but I would imagine at least two hours for a full charge. Best bet is just to hook it to your computer before you go to bed and leave your computer on overnight while it charges...then it will have a full charge for you in the morning which should last quite awhile.

My Sylvania MP3; touch screen is messed up... Well, the power/lock-unlock button is loose and will NOT turn off the MP3.. Nor will it unlock it. So when I try to select an icon with my pen, a lock pops up....
If you're a little bit tech savvy, you can open the player and fix the button yourself. It's pretty simple, but those who don't know what they're doing can mess things up pretty badly.
If you don't feel like doing that,
I'd suggest bringing it back to where you got it and getting an exchange!

Hi,

how long id you charge the battery?. You can charge for longer hour and see if it will power it.If it does no power,the battery might be dead and need a replacement.

Test the battery with the same type of the mp3 to comfirm if the battery is the functioning.If the battery is OK, that means it needs to be flashed to restored the lost memory of the mp3.

I have not opened my Coby MP822-4G touchscreen, I wanted to know beforehand if I should bother if there were lots of problems with it or not?

Are there adapters available to charge up the MP610 MP3 player. Don't like having to use the computer to charge it and would like to be able to recharge when away from a computer.
If it charges through the USB socket, then you could try a mains USB adaptor. They can be picked up pretty cheaply on eBay and Amazon. I couldn't suggest a specific one, as for all I know you could live in Timbuctu, and have a very unstandard plug socket! But I'm sure you'll find one pretty easily. You can even get them for your car!

I'm having the same ass problem but i never tryed cnnecting it ti my lap top yet untill i get bacc home from collage. oh yea ya blond **** 1st of all some people dont have money to get a nice mp3 player so we get these cheap ass 1's at least its something and a oh yea i don't kno whats wrong wit our mp3 i made sure the battery is put in right and still won't turn on period i'm going 2 take it bacc to radioshacc and see what they can do. i let u kno if anything.
