My Kenwood UD-500 Shelf System doesn't switch sources,

My Kenwood UD-500 Shelf System is working, although it doesn't change or switch between sources.
After a electricity cut in my residential area, the system apeared to be ok.

But when i tried to listen to a cd, it just won't change into cd mode and it keeps switched in tuner mode, not allowing to change.

What can it be?

Kenwood A722L no sound and volume led blinking

This could be due to a faulty speaker relay (if your unit uses one). Normally, the unit will "wait" a couple of seconds after you turn the unit on. Then you will hear a "click" and the sound will begin coming through the speakers. If the relay is faulty, it would cause the problem you describe.

Kenwood UD-301 system. CD player does not read disc. Reports ''no disc' therefore unable to run cleaner.

Have decided it's not worth spending any more money on. Will discard and buy a new one.

Conection to my computer

I burn CD's on my laptop connected to a HM-33 through the earphone out plug. You have to change the computer's system input sound preference from "system" to "Audio in". Stereo sound quality is excellent.
