Yesteday when starting the OS my sigma m332 started to respond discursively. I tried to switch on and off the touchpad, disconnect and reconect the mouse, no change. The mouse light was blinkering. Other mouse plugged into the same USB port, worked fine. Today switching on my laptop, I found my mouse dead. No light. Disconnecting a reonnecting the light blinks one then goes off, and no respose from the mouse. Trying in another PC. No response either. Is it really dead, or is there any way to resuscitate?

Some mice have a battery in them to work. Find the battery compartment and place new batteries in it. See if that will work.

SOURCE: Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 doesn't work

Hi
If you take the batteries out there is a screw in there. unscrew and open (not easy) with flat knife in the edges wiggling.
attach and touch all the inside wires. I have had the same problem and it is an internal connector problem. Opening and closing aint easy and will take a little patience but it will work.
Good luck

SOURCE: Mouse doesn't move

Well in case of opto-mechanical mouse all u hav to do is open d mouse and just clean d rollers(as d ball moves d rollers also move and that decide d X-Y coefficients) which are clogged with sticky dirt n dust.
In case of optical mouse it's d crystal which is most vulnerable to failure,so after detailed tests procedures change d faulty component,u might require professional guidance.
Also cleaning d lens below the LED will help.
Repairs of optical Mouse is not worth it,considering d obsolute nature of electronic circuits, and d rapid fall n d prices, replacing is d only option for an optical mouse

SOURCE: razer copperhead problem

I have something like you've all described with mine occasionally, normally, turning the mouse over and rubbing the laser surround with my finger vigorously is enough to clean off the crud that seems to be causing the problem..
I've never had any software problems or anything with mine..

If you reinstalled the drivers then most like there is a problem with the touch pad its self. If you are still under warranty I would call Dell Tech Support to get the touch pad replaced on the system.

My Beko MW5104 is frozen and does not respond to any settings. It is permanently on at spin/end with the green light on. I can switch it on and off. I have unplugged it from the mains and switched it off...

Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.
Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.
Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

My HP Mini 110 touchpad mouse is frozen. Pls help

Hello

If the touchpad does not responds then make sure that the touchpad lock switch (just above the touchpad) is not turned off.

If this doesn't work,Restart the computer and repeatedly tap the F8 key (you need to press F8 before windows starts to load) You should see a menu "Select Last Known Good Configuration" and press Enter. This should solve the problem if not,try to download the synaptics drivers for any of the Mini 1000 series laptop edition as you have a Mini 110. It does works.

HP Compaq nc 6120 - it is stuck - curser is halt not responding anything. When pressing a little hard or lifting laptop above from one corner it starts working.

sounds like you have something stuck on your touchpad controller.

You could plug in an external mouse and try to shut off your touchpad while putting pressure on the case long enough to get to mouse file in your control panel folder.

You will probably have to take the cover off and look for stuck switches or maybe something spilled on the touchpad itself that is gumming things up.

good luck and be careful.

Touchpad not funjctioning on Toshiba Satellite L40/45 laptop

You might have inadvertedly disabled the touchpad.

1. Press Fn + F9 to enable the touchpad.
This key combination acts as a switch, enabling or disabling the touchpad: press once to enable (if it is disabled), then press again to disable.

2. If the touchpad still doesn't respond, check the settings in the mouse control utility.
Click on the touchpad icon on the right side of the task bar if you see one or click Start button/Settings/Control Panel, select the Mouse icon and Press Enter.
Change the settings if necessary.

Touchpad doesn't respond

MY SOLUTION - Hello, I have Compaq Presario V2000 Laptop and at once my touchpad stopped working.

So i rebooted it several times but it still didn't work.

Then i detached the battery from the laptop and let it like that for 5 min. I attached the battery again and the touchpad was working again.

So, try the simplest solutions first before you start messing with complicating solutions.

Good luck !
