There is a cloud or shadow on the glass plade of my printer. I have cleaned the surface but the problem seems to be on the other side of the glass. Who do I get in to clean it?
Yep-I already went there, and I followed instructions to the point of detaching the cables. instead, I was able to wipe underneath with a cloth.
Found it! Here is the step-by-step for removing the glass... I think I will take the instructions and printer to a shop to have it done!

Ok - I found the right screwdriver (that was the hardest part of this project) I decided to give it a try... (I have the 2410 photosmart, and I was not able to get the the bottom of the glass without following these instructions) I followed the step-by-step instructions and cleaned the inside - it is perfect again now! I even got it all back together without a hitch. I am up and running and it only took about 30 mins.

just want to remove the glass to clean the fog underneath. how do I remove it? thanks
Me too! How do you get the glass off to clean the haze off the bottom of the glass? I've checked my ref guide... there are no instructions for this
Give up. The underside of the glass on a 2610 can NOT be cleaned. This was confirmed by HP online help, HP service chat and my own bitter experience. If you're under warranty, take it in to the shop. If you're not, the service charges would be about the same as buying a new printer.
