TV turns on then turns off after a couple of seconds

Same thing as reported above. any suggestions?

Did you do the diagnostic self check: hold menu and input for 5 seconds and release both--power light should blink in a two digit code--2 blinks, a pause and two more blinks etc. Let me know error code and I will tell you what it means.

I had a similar problem . Pressed the on button, green led came on
for approx. 3 secs., and a relay action was heard afterwards.

I resoldered power diode ( d9a58) in the circuit.

Sometimes I can play my game mahjong trails on my facebook other than that it won't load

Sometimes it's FarceBook, and other times its the capability limit of your computer. This game seems simple enough that it shouldn't be taxing your computer.

If you have an older computer, windows XP or Vista, and you just turned it on before trying to play, it may still be starting up other programs such as Skype or Anti-virus or others, give it a couple minutes before trying your game.
Another thing some people do is get impatient and hit Internet Exploder or Firefox or Chrome multiple times when it doesn't start right away when they first click it. In that case your computer is trying to run those multiple times and slows down your whole system.

Here is MegaZebra's suggestions:
First, try to reload the game. Second, check if you have the latest version of Flash Player. Third, delete temporary files such as cache and cookies.
If none of the above worked, try to open the game and scroll down at the bottom of the page, where you will find a link called "Report a technical problem". Please use it to send us a report and we will investigate it. Don't forget to write us a few details and to let us know if you tried the above. This way, the process will be faster and you will be able to play again sooner.

Why is HDMI LED blinking and there is no power to the amplifier?

I assume that you are connecting your amp to a hi-def TV. Can you try out the TV stand-alone and see if it works? Perhaps there is a problem with the TV. The blinking light tells me that there is a HDMI related problem. What is connected to the HDMI? Check the cable and make sure both ends are connected properly. Disconnect the HDMI cable and see if the amp will turn on. Does it work? Do the lights on the amp come on? Give us some more details. Try the above and report back.

It coming on and after a couple of seconds cut off

Without a brand AND model number or a better description of the problem, any suggestions would be nothing more than a guess.

Unless you are prepared to repair the TV yourself, professionally performed repair, even simplest ones, will probably exceed the cost of a new LCD replacement set.

Due to X-ray and other safety concerns (equipment and/or people), CRT TVs constantly check the voltages and signals required to make a CRT work. A few seconds grace is allowed during start up but after that, any excessive high voltage (real or imagined) or loss of beam deflection circuits will cause the TV to turn off.

Please do the following:
1. Move the TV to a quiet and preferable totally dark room.
Wait until night if necessary.

2. Stand within an inch or closer to the TV screen.

3. Turn on the TV and look and listen for the following:

a. Whoosh sound and/or head hair attracted toward TV screen
Yes. High voltage activated and charged CRT screen.
No. High voltage failed to activate.

b. Hissing or normal sounds from the speaker(s) while set is on.
Low voltage circuits probably okay. Defective low voltage regulator can cause high voltage to exceed limits.

c. Entire screen briefly lit up or single bright spot at center of TV screen

High voltage worked for a moment then the TV shut off due to over voltage or current problems.

d. Brief bright line from top to bottom or single bright dot on TV screen

horizontal deflection circuits bad
vertical deflection circuits ok
TV shut off due to bad deflection/sweep circuit

e. Brief bright line from left to right on TV screen

horizontal deflection circuits bad
vertical deflection circuits ok
TV shut off due to bad deflection/sweep circuit

It would be helpful for you to perform the above "up close and personal turn the TV on test" and report what happened.

42 in oliva lcd turned off then went to turn it on a couple of hours later and wont turn back on

Hello Dell ok the problem with your tv set is coming from the power supply board but lets try acouple of things disconnect your tv set from the wall for about 15 seconds plug it back in see what happens if that does not work try another plug in your house see what happens if none of the above procedures work then your power supply board has a faulty component or the board itself is faulty and you might have to replace the board, what i would suggest is to contact oliva tv company and see if they have the psb if they do go ahead and get it you should be able to change it out yourself with the instructions that come with the board just be very careful when doing so thank you hope this helps.

My rca r52wh74 turns on for 10 secs then off.

was the storage unit climate controlled? If not then it's most likely due to heat and or humidity in which case I would suggest cleaning out the tv from the inside if you want to spend the time to do so but there is a good chance that the tv will need to be replaced.

What worked for me was tu unplugged the power chord from the outlet, wait for 5 seconds, then replugged it, turn the tv on and while it's turning on open the dvd tray. It should open without problem. At least it worked for me.
