I have Sony LCD TV Modle number KDL-52XBR4, I cannot receive video and audio on all on analog channels even though these channels are detected when I do auto program. The TV is set on cable.

No you do not. Your Sony already has a digital tuner. If you are not getting all the channels you think you should, you just need to keep progromming your TV with the antenna at different locations to maximise your signal.
Hi check to make sure the antenna is connected correctly. try tunning the channels manually and if they come up you can save them one at a time. Also try moving the antenna to a different location. make sure the TV is set to scan on the same input that you are connecting the antenna. If all that fails ou might have a defective tuner board.
You've not given us the manufacturer, make and model number, but I see 3 analog inputs on the left and the usb on the right. This tells me the analog audio and video signals must come from a dvd or vcr or tv-tuner. You say getting channels, so I'm assuming you've not hooked up to a digital ready tv hooked to cable or dish or digital converter. THERE ARE NO MORE ANALOG SIGNAL CHANNELS ANYMORE. Everything went digital in June 2009. So there you have it. If you don't have usable information going in, you can't get it out. try it with sterio audio and video from a digital tv that is receiving channels, and I think you'd then see sterio and video out of your pc. When I installed my dads Samsung 40 lcd 120 hz. I had to turn it all off and after 5 mins I turned on the cable and then 5 minutes later I turned o the tv.
Or have you tried "searching" the tv for cable channel's?
These tv's receive digital on the atsc 8vsb. Do you know what there broadcasting in New Zealand ? It could be that a Sony tech there can fix your problem. The TV can be set-up for a different digital broadcast and Sony is all over the world even in New Zealand .
I was getting a constant mono setting for all channels with no option to set it to stereo. I called Sharp, and they said that in order to receive stereo sound, you cannot use a standard coaxial cable. You need an S-Video or HDMI cable. This not only resolves the mono audio issue but also resolves the analog (vs. stereo) issue. Hope this helps!!
