Hunter ceiling fan remote 85095-01 stopped working

I have a Hunter Ceiling Fan 23530 with remote 85095-01
Remote dropped, now it won't work. The battery is good, and the red light comes on, just won't control the fan. No other way to control the fan/light. I would sure appreciate any help you can give. Thanks :-)

- I forgot to mention that the fan is ON, light is off. Neither can be changed. Thanks.

- I was getting ready to buy a new remote then all of a sudden my remote started working again. I have no idea why. But I'm glad it did. Thank you for your help.

if the battery's are good then you broke it and you have to order a new one which you can do by calling the place that you got the fan from tell them what kind of fan you have and let them know that you nead a new remote and they will be able to help you do that.
