Most owners manuals are generalized because they are designed to cover a wide variety of variations on the theme. Suggest you put it away carefully in a drawer and forget. Now purchase a good bike maintenance book. Have a look at the selection available from Dorling Kindersley, www.dk.com. Richards' and and Chris Sidwells books are both published by them and are not expensive. Also check out the makers names and part designations for specialist advice from component manufacturers. Their websites will normally allow you to download service and parts details.

Does your sound work normally on the computers ?

If so then you should check the support or QA section of DK but they are in the AVANQUEST web site and are prone to problems

If this is older software then there is a chance that the sound may not work on newer computers. That is a common thing with many older software packages. and unless you are tech savvy with sound card software it can be a challenge to get it going
by older I would include most software over 7 years old

Search the term "DK" in their Search Help Database (without bothering to tell them what type of computer you have, OS, software, etc). It should come up right away. This is a fix for Windows XP. Should work for Windows 7 too, if you're running virtual xp (though I haven't tested that yet.) Not sure about vista.

Sidenote: This is a good place to get info on the 3MB virtual memory fix too, which some older programs require. The short version is this...just set your virtual memory (Start/controlpanel/System/Advanced/Performance - Settings/Advanced/Change) to 4000.
