Page 78 of the manual. If you need the manual, you can download it free.

You need a Yahoo gmail account. Select Yahoo Groups and find the "BerninaThirtySomethings" group. Request to be added as a member. Once you have access, go into the Files folder and locate the Bernina 1630 manual.

(If I could figure out how to do it, I would attach the manual in Fixya, but unforunately...)

Why don’t the teeth move under the plate when sewing with Bernini 1120

If the feed dogs are not moving, be sure the stitch length is set at 2 or higher. Otherwise, it's likely they have either seized due to old dry oil or something is disconnected that drives them.

Bernini 1130s will only sew backwardsn

It could be that the "0" position on the feed dogs have to be reset inside the open arm. Likely only an old repairman would want to try this adjustment

Need to do a satin stitch on Bernini 1630

Just set it for a short stitch length and a wide zig-zag. Test it and keep adjusting the stitch length so the thread will not overlap from stitch to stitch but also that the stitches are close enough so no fabric shows between the stitches.

I lowered the feed dogs on my Bernini 1000 for quilting and now cannot raise them. Help?

Have you recently thoroughly cleaned and oiled your machine? If not, the feed dogs could be stuck in the dropped position due to lack of fresh oil.

Wheel on right side that controls the needle up and down is very tight...

Also, remember that the feed dogs will not rise again until the machine actually begins to stitch.

Bernini 1090 feed dogs aren't feeding the fabric. They are way down.

Are you saying the feed dogs are not moving at all?

If the feed dogs are not moving at all, there's a good chance they have seized due to lack of oil. I'm more familiar with the 930s and older models, but I assume the 1090 probably needs periodic oiling on its mechanical parts. If nothing else, try directing hot air from a handheld hairdryer into the internal mechanism where the feed dogs are to see if that loosens it up.

I have a Bernini Funlock 007D that is jammed. motor runs but handwheel will not turn. Help please.

Probably needs a thorough oiling. Mechanical machines really need frequently oiling to keep them running. Liquid Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube applied a couple drops every place metal rubs on metal (wiggle the handwheel gently and watch where things move). Do NOT oil belts, synthetic parts. Then direct hot air from a handheld hairdryer into the internal metal mechanics. May need to repeat a couple more times until it moves freely again. This works great on sewing machines too.
