SOURCE: batteries weak

Hi, Don't know the make and model of your safe but this advice works for sentry safes,if it doesn't help you get back to me with a make and model: If you need to know how to put batteries in, Turn the electronic lock clockwise ( to the right) from the 12 o'clock position to the 2 o'clock position which opens it so you can put in 4 fresh AA batteries replace the assembly by turning it to the left from the 2 o'clock back to the 12 o'clock. enter your combination and check for the green light. Good Luck!

SOURCE: Liftmaster wireless keypad closes but won't open the door

If you are sure the battery is good you have a bad keypad. The signal strength is so weak it will not penetrate the door.

I have a paragon 7700 it is stuck closed.

If the key is not working, then unfortunately you will need to call a locksmith to open the safe. There is no other way to open the safe without the key.

Only has keypad to access safe. batteries are dead

Leave it for a week. The batteries might have regenerated just enough to open the door once more.

Otherwise there may be a keyhole beneath the front plate.

If all else fails, you'll have to cut the back out of the safe.

The garage door will close fine when you enter the code on the pad, but will not open when you use the code on the pad.

The problem you have is a weak signal that is not strong enough to penetrate the door. Make sure the battery is good. If not the battery then a new keypad will be needed.

IF REPLACING THE BATTERY DOESN'T DO IT YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE KEYPAD.

NOTE: (IF YOU HAVE A ROLLING CODE SYSTEM) YOU WILL NEED TO REPROGRAM THE UNIT AFTER YOU CHANGE THE BATTERY.
