Tv only plays rd channels not cable channels - Televison & Video

You will need to reprogram your TV. You will have get into the menu and press, searching for channels......Be sure you search for cable TV tuning. Should work for you. Thanks for asking me!

Hook up ur tv to the cable box to able to watch HD channels and standard channels together.

Use channel 3 or 4 or hook up the RCA jacks. If you use 3 or 4 leave it on that channel and use the cable box to change channel. Use RCA jacks (best) turn the channel on the recorder to line in ether LINE1 or LINE2 with one you plug it up to and leave it on that channel.

Look online for the AVS Forum about TV Guide ON Screen (TVGOS).  there are lots of posts there about specific locations and providers,

i solved ur problem as i geuss but u didn't rate me.

If it works the way you have it setup now, leave that way. Plug all your video sources to the denon if possible and leave it that way.
If the denon has the feature to change channels like a cable converter then you can use it or if you still have a VCR you can also use it as a tuner just to tune the cable channels and use the audio/video outputs from it to the TV or denon receiver.
The tuner might not even be available anymore and if it's, is expensive.

Check that you have the arial plugged in correct input otherwise it will not tune up.

You MUST connect the recorder to the Tv with a SCART cable that is why you are not seeing anything.
I suspect you are using only the RF or Ariel Cables
If you have it connected with the scart cable you must choose the AV channel on your TV remote.
