Unfortunately, resetting a Dell Inspiron 20 model 3052 series to factory settings requires you to use a recovery disk or USB drive, as the system does not include a built-in resetting option. To reset your password, you will need to use a password or recovery disk. You can create a password or recovery disk using the Dell Support website.

I want to reset my PC to factory settings and delete evreything on the hard disk before giving it for recycling, what is the best way to do that? The pc is an old DELL inspiron.

The best way to do this is to format your disks (other than C:) and then use a Windows Installation Disc to format your C: partition.

Just bought new laptop, need to enter security code for netgear but can't remember it

Reset the router. Hold the reset button for about 20 seconds and you should have it with factory settings. Redo the settings. Save a copy of those settings and here you go.

If you need further assistance please post and don't forget to rate.

How do i restore factory defaults

To restore the computer to the Original Factory settings perform the following steps:
Turn off the Computer
connect it to the Power outlet with Adapter
Turn on the laptop
The moment you see the Dell Logo, Press the Ctrl Key and start tapping the F11 key. You will get a screen which will give you options to restore the computer. Note: you will lose all the programs and applications that you have installed and also the files and documents stored in your computer (including the email in Outlook). You computer will be as it was when you first Purchased it.
