To restore the computer to the Original Factory settings perform the following steps: Turn off the Computer connect it to the Power outlet with Adapter Turn on the laptop The moment you see the Dell Logo, Press the Ctrl Key and start tapping the F11 key. You will get a screen which will give you options to restore the computer. Select the option which says Restore to Original Factory Settings. It will run the restore and your computer will be restored to Factory setting within 15 - 20 minutes.
Note: you will lose all the programs and applications that you have installed and also the files and documents stored in your computer (including the email in Outlook). You computer will be as it was when you first Purchased it.
P.S: You can restore the system to Factory settings only if you have not formatted or replaced the Original Hard Drive.
