Hi. Washing machines are dependent on the water supply for their heat. If it isn't getting hot, it's from lack of hot water. Put the machine on a setting requiring only hot water for the initial fill, and start the machine. If the water is at a low or no flow rate, proceed as follows: Unplug the washer, close and disconnect the hose from the hot water faucet. Inspect the inside of the hot water hose; there is usually a screen in the end to catch scale and sediment. If you see anything there, remove the washer and screen, and clean it. Reinstall the hose, and disconnect the hose at the washer end of the hot water hose. Open the faucet, and discharge some water into a bucket. If there is no water, you may have a plumbing issue, so I'd back up to the faucet and check. If you do have water there, inspect the solenoid valve inlet (where the hose connected) for another screen. Clean as before. If debris was found at either location in a sufficient quantity to obstruct your water flow, reconnect the hose, and try to get hot water into the machine again. If no hot water will enter the machine, the issue is probably with the solenoid valve. If you have an electrical test meter, you can test the valve, or replace it. Any appliance parts supply house will have your part.
Best regards, and good luck. --W/D-- Please feel free to rate this solution, and let me know what you find out.

Is this a dishwasher or a washing machine ? dishwashers heat the water, washing machines take the water from your hot water tank.

Indecit W123 washing machine water doesnt heat. The water doesnt heat up in my machine.

More than likely that the heater element has failed,
This is usually located at the rear of the washer, remove rear panel, and test with a meter, this is the only sure way of testing it to see if it is o/k.

Water doesnt pump out to start rinse cycle

Seems the timer is sticking at the drain cycle. Manually move the timer and see if this helps. If this works then the timer is bad.

Washing machine doesnt heat the water

Most washing machines do not heat water, they merely let the hot water into the wash tub that comes from your house hot water heater.... when selecting warm, hot and cold water will be mixed together to get warm or when selecting cold.. only the cold water is allowed into the wash tub.. Please provide brand and model number of machine so I can tailor a reply toward your specific washer...

Won't heat water anymore - only washes in cold water

u need to take the back half panel off once off u will see the two thermostats and the heater element you can test the element by undoing the wires and getting an old wire with plug on 1 end and bear wires on the other place corrisponding wires to were that wire had come of turn plug on and if it is working it will heat up straight away which means the thermostats need replacing if it doesnt then the element needs replacing
