Haier hlp21n won't agitate or spin - Haier Washing Machines

Question edited for clarity.

My guess is that your drain hose is too high. The pump is in the base of the washer and pushes the water up the tube and into the drain/ when the pump stops, the residual water in the hose drops back into the base of the machine, so the higher the hose, the greater the column of water.

The Drain Pump is blocked or failing.

check / replace the start run capacitor for the motor
have a electrician do it or a service technician if you do not recognize it
it is normally up near the control panel

main suspects are lid switch or fill level gage lid switch

pressure sensor switch

This is also known as a sears proflex among other names....

There may be something stuck in the pump. This could cause no drain and of course it won't spin with water in it. I an not sure if it would agitate or not. I am not too familiar with Haier machines but I did have one with a jammed pump and it didn't work until the object jamming the pump was removed

Try to find a local appliance parts store. Need to take the old one to match it up.

ihe clutch is not grabing in1 needs replacing clutch assembly.

I tried replacing the motor and this problem persisted to me. I spoke to a service technician who has encouraged me to replace the sequenser but I'm hesitant
