I look for driver for my Pc media center M7000 product M7682fr system number RF893AA ?

shorter answer, ? 2005 PC , XP day 1 new, is it XP now?
NO OS told, you want to run, no clues. XP?
1-HP ended support. long ago ,hp.com see they did. ALL GONE.!
2-MS PnP plug and play , may work but not OS told at all. how sad.
3-GOOGLING this for a fact will get your PC infected, for sure
if running XP to W7, not told.

so lets focus only on 2 bad things
NIC Ethernet that makes #2 above dead.

this PC is a relic, and but I will lockup the NIC for you.
what is actually there, (HP, hates true specs but I can do it)
french PC , I'm USA so might get this wrong, ours can be different.
can I presume PC is not dead and runs XP?
what must be does is get the driver on a 2PC (nic) move it to the M7000
to get the driver, it must match the PC and the OS. fully.
lets discover what nic chip is there now. (not wifi, I refuse wifi)
it is the
  • Chipset Type Intel P965 Express
oops 965 has no NIC that means it has ethernet card.
or has other chip Ethernet there, dedicated
and is HP secret this, not in the spec.
that leaves 2 choices, add one or find the ID's in device manger.
NO OS TOLD I give up.
xp has no support now, so adding new NC card will fail
but and old XP nic card will work if running virus magnet XP.

in device manager, in page control panel. do this
click on NIC and right click properties.
these magic PnP codes,(5) tells what NIC is really there

nic-undefined-undefined-0.jpg with the code we can you all operating systems support this chip
XP yes, w10- mostly not. 2005 is 16 years ago but I'd have to look.

How do i use the mmc/sd port

Hi !

First, you have to make sure that you have installed the proper drivers for your mmc/sd port.

http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Media-Center-m7000-Desktop-PC-series/1847154/model/3185130/drivers

Restart after installing. After that, just insert the mmc into the slot and you should see it on "My Computer" or press Win+E.

Will m7350n memory chips work in a m7000

A) HP Support > HP Pavilion Media Center m7350n Desktop PC > Main Support page,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=1818343&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0001

Product information > Product specifications > HP Media Center m7350n Desktop PC Product Specifications,

Memory

PC2-3200

That is DDR2 Sdram at 400MegaHertz. (400MHz)

Has 240 gold plated contact pins on the bottom.120 on each side.
One Locating Notch on the bottom also.

Problem is I find no HP Pavilion m7000, or HP Pavilion m7000n; Desktop PC.

Look on the back of the computer for the white Service Tag.
What is the Product Number?
P/N = Product Number

Post back in a Comment.

I can tell you that if it's a Pavilion m7060n Desktop PC, it will work,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00306958&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=459895

Same thing if it is a Pavilion m7070n Desktop PC,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00306962&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=459896

Be SURE you FOLLOW Anti-Static Procedures, when working on your unplugged from power computer.

Everywhere on the Ram Memory module ('Stick'), EXCEPT the gold plated contact pins at the bottom; is the BODY.

The Body is coated with a see-through protective plastic.

Handle the Ram Memory module by the Body.
Refrain from touching the gold plated contact pins.

HP Media Center m7000 driver

http://download.cnet.com/sp30504-exe/3000-2110_4-115873.html

Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices or for Windows 7 click start right click on computer select properties in the left pane device manager scroll through all of your devices. If you see a yellow question / exclamation mark ? ! or a Red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver software. If you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver If you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it. or you might have to download them Rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html Windows XP/Vista/7/8
it might take some time being a freeware driver solution Note: it will find all of your outdated drivers
This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point.

Click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated.

Hope this helps

The light

If you cant turn it on then its probably a bad power supply. So i would bring it to your local pc shop, a power supply for a regular home computer shouldnt run to much, and labor for it should be less than 1 hour. So you could get away with around 100.00.

If i read your last message wrong and you can turn it on, then do as i suggested and test the voltage read, but if its clicking, then somethings wrong, computers only click when somethings broken.
