Try to push the TV button that is lit red at top middle of remote for 5 seconds in stead of hitting input. In other words by holding the tv button down it might trigger it to respond better. Thanks Mike
Did you get an answer to this question because I have the same problem. The remote is now broken and I have no way of changing it to AUX. If you know how, let me know.
Here's a fix I did that worked. I had tried to run Ovation with PPT 2007 first, to no avail. Same problem as described here. I uninstalled PPT 2007 and re-installed PT 2003. THEN YOU MUST bring up Ovation, import your PPT slides, THEN click "Tools", "Clear Show Settings". Ovation will re-import the slides but using the components of 2003 and WALLA! It will work.
