Do you leave it plugged in a lot? I would try another Cord/charger with the EXACT same power specs. Never leave a Computer plugged in when not in use, it's subject to power surges, accidental damage, and shortens the life of the components, Cord/Charger, AC jack, etc.

Check the charger you are using, if it is not damaged. If the charger is not okay, then try and replace the charger. If it's not working again then, check the charging point on motherboard. If the problem persist. then contact expert.

The 'funny' thing about Adobe Flash Player is that it does Not automatically uninstall the older version.
You have to use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller Tool.

On this page go to line 1. Click on the blue -
uninstall_flash_player.exe

Download the file, then go to where you downloaded it, and double-click on the file name.
(Double-clicking opens the file)
Click on Run.
Yes, Microsoft it's a good file.

After you have run Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller, restart your computer.
Now go back to Adobe Support, and download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

There is no Jumper on a Dell Vostro 1000 to clear the password. You will have to contact Dell Technical Support, Complete a ownership validation to confirm you are an authorized user of the system, then they can provide you with a Master Password to clear the password

Are you using the original charger or another. The Dell power system will give this message when you use a 70W charger on a system that needs a 90W charger - check the sticker on the back. Also, if the plug to the main board gets just a little loose you will get this message. Be careful you are not putting too much strain at the power plug or you will need a repair soon!
