I have an older model closed caption phone and the majic jack go does not connect to the cc phone. the majic phone is in the kitchen and the cc phone is in the living room. how do I fix the problem?

Make sure both jacks are connected together.Some are not. Open all the wall jacks in the home to insure they pass the red and green wires on to the next jack. Connect any that are not, color for color. When all the jacks look like the wiring is OK then try the CC phone again.

Majic Jack does not load softwatre in your computer. Restart your DSL router, then the computer with the Majic Jack plugged in to the computer abnd the phone. If you have internet working i.e. go to MSN and make sure it come up and the Majic Jack will talk to the internet then the majic jack central then you can doal.
i've had the problem too some time back, try this,
first try it on another system which was not connected earlier if it works then follow as below
remove the Majic Jack and then go ahead and uninstall the driver and all just clean everything related to Majic Jack on your system, now connect the Majic Jack to preferably a different port than earlier, the drivers and all will be downloaded again and software will be upgraded all by itself and will install again
connect it in your usb and let it install drivers and then you have to pick up a password. Phone number is provided automatically. You just need to pick up your area.
black blank box is connected to CC or closed caption. from the tv controls, push the CC button and while the box is reading closed caption, push button again (maybe twice) and when it says OFF simply set the controls down, Good Luck:}
Some DVD players cannot handle closed captions. Cheaper or older hardware players sometimes strip out the closed caption data. Players that have a progressive scan mode sometimes block captions when in this mode. And anything that's connected with an HDMI cable can't pass through captions.Most software players that you use when you play a DVD on your computer don't have any way to decode the captions. Windows Media Player can display DVD captions, and Apple DVD Player can display pop-on captions but not roll-up style captions. Certain paid versions of WinDVD and PowerDVD have CC capability. Look in your player's preferences to see if there are any closed caption options. Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day don't forget to rate me. thanks, REymond
you need to be connected to the internet. the magic jack only works to dial a phone number is when it sees a free port to the internet. disable your firewall for a minute and try it again. (thats guessing you are connected to the internet)
MAJIC JACK--is for calling -- Free local and long distance calling in the USA and Canada. This little device called magicJack will let you make calls from your phone to other phones in the United States ..it has a real telephone jack ... Just insert this device to an usb port, and your phone into this and now you're able to call. Just dial and away you go. Good Luck. If this information is helpful,,,,pls rate me. Thanks :0)
If your using the RGB inputs or A/V inputs I do believe that feature is disabled. You have to use the closed caption capabilities with the cable box or satellite from with-in them, which ever you may have. The CC is only active in the menu when cable is directly connected to the RF jack for input on the TV, which can be the cable box also. Hope this helped.
Comcast's remote has nothing to do with closed captioning. It's on your tv remote. First, the tv has to be capable of handling closed captioning, and your's is- and second, the program must have closed captioning provided- current programs do, some older shows do not support closed captioning. Recheck your remote, and if necessary- look at the setup instructions that came with the TV- they should also be posted online at the Proscan support site.
