With razor style verizon LG phones and maybe others -
Normally you slide it open and it magically fires up. But after removing the back cover which is also the battery in this case - you must then simply press the on button on the side of the phone which is A "micro small" button and never really used unless of course you remove the battery and put it back in. This should be a first on a checklist to trouble shooting to re-establish a power problem after a battery exchange.(Did you press the on button on the side of the phone?)

From what Ive read about your problem, you may well have had a dead battery, try taking out the battery and putting it back in, this is basically the same as resetting it... It should power up normally from that... If it doesnt and its still under warranty then take it back to Fido and get it repaired...

When I power up the phone the screen is blank and stays blank. I took out the battery and put it back in several times for different durations. No fix.
Sounds like the screen has un cliped off the board. it is easy to clip back on if you open the phone. don't open it if its under warranty that's their job!

Blank screen on razr 3 cell phone
I bought this cell phone off ebay thru a hong kong dealer what a mistake. This is the second phone they shipped me but not without extra expense for me and now this phone screen went blank in 1 day after receiving it. I just plan on sending it back and filing a complaint on ebay.

Just beware!!!!!!!

Seems like these cell phones need to be RECALLED.

My g1 has a blank white screen screen locked
I dropped my G1, picked it up and it was fine went home a few hours later starting going through my apps it started running weird then it shut off...I took the battery out and put it back in when i did that it vibrated telling me there was life in the battery but the screen stayed blank no G1 intro no android nothing...then screen is not black but a grayish white depending the angle you hold the phone at. I called my carrier we did the reset nothing happened its still stuck at the blank screen? Any help with this?

Wet cell phone-blank screen
Well it depends on the type of screen you have in the phone. Some have edges that can split open and lose the fluid that projects the picture so your best bet is to just replace the phones screen, if every thing else works fine
